I started performing stand-up comedy in my first year of college when I realized I wasn’t good at anything else. I managed to juggle classes at Western Michigan University while getting stage time at landmark Michigan stand-up venues like Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle and Dr. Grins Comedy Club. I’ve performed alongside comics like Dave Waite, Pat Dixon, Mike Green, Pat Godwin, Aisha Tyler and Aziz Ansari.

In addition to being a disarmingly attractive stand-up comedian, I draw a weekly comic strip in the Western Herald, the official school newspaper of Western Michigan University.

I host a monthly comedy podcast available for free on this very site or on iTunes. It’s called Stand Up Sat Down and it’s a blast. Each month I bring on a local Michigan comic followed by a professional touring laughmaster. Then we talk.

I wrote and directed a full-length feature film called THE DAY JOB, winner of a 2012 Eclipse Award. The production was arranged through Western Michigan University with my good friend Daniel Kawka, who co-wrote and co-directed the film with me. Find out more and watch the trailer here.
